We have several companies that buy hand-assembled products and all you need to do is meet the quality standards of each company.

At American Cottage Crafts, we understand that some people would like to set their own hours and work from home.

Blue Note CD Cases

The cases are simple and easy to make using paper, ribbon and glue and easy instructions provided. The supplies used to make the CD cases are provided by Blue Note.

  1. Order the instruction kit. The fee is a deposit to cover enough materials to make three sample cases.
  2. Follow the instructions and create a sample of your work. Order a sample case for $5 if you would like something to refer to while you are building your case.
  3. You have 60 days from the time you receive your instruction kit to complete and submit your first unit.
  4. Send in one assembled CD case for inspection. Once the CD cases has passed inspection, the remaining supplies to complete one unit of 50 CD cases will be sent to you.
  5. Create 50 CD cases and send to Blue Note CD Cases. You will be reimbursed for postage.
  6. After verifying the quality and that a complete set has been accomplished, a payment of $81.80 will be mailed to you within seven business days, along with the materials for another unit.
  7. You are an independent contractor, and must keep track of and report your earnings.
  8. Up to 5 units of CD cases may be submitted per week making $409.00
  9. Your deposit of $28.95 will be returned after your 6th set of 50 CD Cases (300 in all).
  10. We can’t accept units of less than 50 cases.
  11. We are counting on you. for inventory purposes, you must finish a minimum of one unit every 60 days.

 

 


Blue Feather Bookmarks

The bookmarks are 2 colors of beads, gold and blue. They are 8″ by 1″ and there is no sewing or gluing, you just have to count and follow the bead pattern. The beads and string used are provided by Blue Feather Bookmarks.

  1. Order the instruction kit. The fee is a deposit to cover enough materials to make a sample bookmark.
  2. Follow the instructions and create a sample of your work. Order a sample bookmark for $10 if you would like something to refer to while you are building your bookmark.
  3. You have 60 days from the time you receive your instruction kit to complete and submit your first unit.
  4. Send in one bookmark for inspection. Once your bookmark has passed inspection, we will send you materials for 18 more.
  5. Create 18 bookmarks and send to Blue Feather Bookmarks. You will be reimbursed postage.
  6. After verifying the quality and that a complete set has been accomplished, a payment of $144 will be mailed to you within seven business days, along with materials for another unit.
  7. Blue Feather will pay you $144 for one complete unit of 18 bookmarks. We can’t accept units of less than 18 bookmarks.
  8. You are an independent contractor, and must keep track of and report your earnings.
  9. Up to 5 units of bookmarks may be submitted per week making $720.00 weekly
  10. Your deposit of $32.00 will be returned after your 6th set of 18 bookmarks (108 in all)
  11. We are counting on you. for inventory purposes, you must finish a minimum of one unit every 60 days.

 

 


Tiny Poet Baby Bibs

The bibs are about 8″ x 10″, made with 100% cotton fabric with a small embroidered design on the front. The cloth and embroidery thread is provided by the Tiny Poet. The bib fastener is installed by the company.

  1. Order the instruction kit. The fee is a deposit to cover enough materials to make a sample bib.
  2. Follow the instructions and create a sample of your work. Order a sample bib for $10 if you would like something to refer to while you are sewing your bib.
  3. You have 60 days from the time you receive your instruction kit to complete and submit your first bib.
  4. Send in one bib for inspection. Once the bib has passed inspection, we will send you materials to make 15 bibs.
  5. Create 15 bibs and send to Tiny Poet. You will be reimbursed for postage.
  6. After verifying the quality and that a complete set has been accomplished, a payment of $105 will be mailed to you within seven business days.
  7. You are an independent contractor, and must keep track of and report your earnings.
  8. Up to 5 units of bibs may be submitted per week making $525.00 weekly
  9. Your deposit of $28.95 will be returned after your 6th set of 15 bibs (90 in all).
  10. We can’t accept units of less than 15 bibs.
  11. We are counting on you. for inventory purposes, you must finish a minimum of one unit every 60 days.

 


Mermaid Club Jewelry

This jewelry is hand-assembled by our craftspeople all over the US and sold in beach shops up an down the coasts! There are many projects to choose from in the shop from earrings to bracelets to necklaces. Pick your favorite and get started:

  1. Order the instruction kit. The fee is a deposit to cover enough materials to make a sample.
  2. Follow the instructions and create a sample of your work. Order sample jewelry for $18 if you would like something to refer to while you are creating.
  3. You have 30 days from the time you receive your instruction kit to complete and submit your first sample.
  4. Send in one sample for inspection. Once it has passed inspection, we will send you materials for 12 more.
  5. Create one dozen units (a pair of earrings counts as one) and send to Mermaid Club. You will be reimbursed for postage.
  6. After verifying the quality and that a complete set has been accomplished, payment will be sent to you! The amount varies depending on the jewelry you are making so refer to the specific kit details.
  7. You are an independent contractor, and must keep track of and report your earnings.
  8. There is no limit to the amount of jewelry you send in, but for inventory purposes, you must finish each set of 12 within 30 days.
  9. Your deposit of $39.00 will be returned after your 6th set of 12 units (72 in all)
  10. We can’t accept units of less than 12.
  11. We are counting on you. for inventory purposes, you must finish a minimum of one unit every 30 days.
